In 2016, Israel took delivery of the first of 50 F-35s currently on order. It is only the second nation, after the USA, with an operational unit. In its only short service time, the aircraft has reportedly flown missions over Syria.

Named after the tagline for Northern Michigan, where the 644th was also stationed, this B-52 was decorated with D-Day invasion stripes on its wings and stabilizer for its deployment to England for an exercise.

In 2015, VMM-764 conducted the, to date, longest flight of an Osprey: 6,165 miles from Miramar, California all the way to Rio de Janeiro in Brazil in order to take part in a multinational naval exercise.

1:200 Herpa 557283 Scenix - Apron Plates

These two ground plates allow you to place your 1/200 scale model treasures onto a small scenery. This first set includes two plates with an area of 50 by 50 cm / 19.7 by 19.7 in each. Due to a stable thickness of the plates, there is no need to glue the plates onto another surface. The first plate can harbor up to four short- or middle range aircraft, such as the Airbus A320, Boeing 737 or any regional aircraft. Due to its diagonal design, two further mid-range aircraft models or one large wide-body aircraft all the way to the size of the Boeing 747 or Airbus A380 can be placed onto the second plate. An additional plate or two are currently in the concept phase, then enabling various combinations of the different plates.
